Intumescent Systems Ltd has obtained three certificates of constancy of performances for their fire-retardant paints used on wood-based substrates
ITeC, notified body No. 1220, has awarded to the Intumescent Systems Ltd company the certificates 1220-CPR-2369, 1220-CPR-2370 and 1220-CPR-2371 for the products:
- ES/VFR/C according to ETA 23/0387
- ES/VFR/W according to ETA 23/0388
- HW02E according to ETA 23/0389
The three products are water-based intumescent coating designed to reduce the ignitability of wood-based boards, applied by brush, roller or spray gun, on wood-based substrates. They are used as fire retardant products to improve the reaction to fire performance of a wood-based substrate surfaces of a construction product, excluding floorings.
With the granting of this certificate, Intumescent Systems Ltd can carry out the CE marking according to regulation (EU) 305/2011 on construction products.
