Honext Material has obtained the ETA 23/0631 for its Honext® FR-B cellulosic fiber board
Honext® FR-B board is a cellulosic fiber board made from industrial cellulosic waste (75% ± 10%), calcium carbonate (20% ± 10%) and other additives (5% ± 2%), with a thickness of 12 mm ± 0,5 mm and a density of 620 kg/m3 ± 75 kg/m3.
ETA 23/0631 evaluates the board for non-structural interior uses without exposure to water or humidity.
The internal cohesion of the board is achieved by the inherent adhesive property of cellulosic fibers of joining with hydrogen bonds between the hydroxyl groups. In this way, waste from the paper industry that has no use is converted into an industrial board with known performance, suitable for different applications.
