On Wednesday 12/14 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. the webinar “Classifications Systems when using BIM” will take place to present the guideline with the same title developed by the buildingSMART Spanish Chapter.

Anyone who starts to use BIM will feel, as they grow in experience and knowledge, the need to structure and characterize the data they produce, exchange and use. One must be sure that the items can be uniquely and unambiguously located, understood, and organized by all interested parties.

The guideline has been prepared to present the main classification systems for BIM models and how to use them.

What is a classification system? Why should we classify? Which are the main classification systems in the Spanish market? How can we use them, and which success cases are there? All these issues are explained in the document itself and will be clarified next Wednesday in the webinar.
