The Institut de Tecnologia de la Construcció de Catalunya (ITeC) Foundation and the platform for innovation in the construction sector The Building Squad Ventures (TBSV) join forces to create the first “Club de la Innovació ConTech” in Spain. Its main objective is to encourage and enhance innovation in the construction sector, with special attention to the Contech (Construction Technologies) startup sector.

The Club is located at the ITeC headquarters, in Barcelona, ​​and the project is coordinated with the boutique Active Development consultancy, partner of TBSV and leader in Spain in innovation projects for all kinds of organizations and companies.

ConTech is called to solve with technology the big current problems in the world of construction, such as productivity, sustainability and efficiency. Given that it is the second economic sector on the planet by volume and is considered the one with the most room for improvement, ConTech represents a global revolution that attracts more and more investments.

This club will be a nerve center and an international reference in the field of innovation in the construction sector. In this, professionals, companies and startups will create synergies that enhance innovation, giving voice and helping the most disruptive projects to progress and grow.

The “ConTech Innovation Club” will have a complete program of activities specific to an innovation space. It will have outstanding international alliances and, as a pioneering initiative, it will create the first Permanent Incubation Program for ConTech Startups in Spain. In this, a group of technology-based startups for construction will be regularly selected, which will participate in a specific incubation itinerary, with the support of the most outstanding professionals in the sector and entrepreneurship both nationally and internationally.
