Everything suggests that the coronavirus has triggered a severe crisis for the European construction sector, but clearly a short-lived one, unlike the financial crisis of the last decade. Although the famous “V-shaped recovery” will arrive to the overall construction market, when we go into detail by country and by subsectors (housing, non-residential, renovation, civil engineering) many inequalities pop up. The Euroconstruct conference will identify which market niches are moving forward and which ones are unable to keep up.
