TCQ 6.1 More sustainability and more BIM

TCQ 6.1 More sustainability and more BIMThe new version of the TCQ 6.1, which we launched in 2024, represents another step in ITeC’s commitment to provide the construction sector with the necessary tools to design and build more efficiently, responding to the main sustainability and digitalization challenges.

Whether you have BIM models or not, TCQ 6.1 offers utilities that aim to fully control the carbon footprint indicators (CO2eq emissions) and embedded energy of the materials used. It is intended to make it easier to have these values at any phase of the Project and facilitate making the best design and construction decisions to reduce the environmental impact.

TCQ 6.1 allows you to simultaneously analyze the economic cost and the cost of the carbon footprint impact, detecting the elements with the greatest economic and environmental effect, thereby facilitating the optimization of the project.

The availability of BIM models further enhances the design, since the impact values can be analyzed not only based on the work items, but also based on the BIM elements or objects that make up the model, or models of a project. All this through Open BIM formats that guarantee agile and flexible work on any BIM modeling platform.

Starting with version TCQ 6.1, with the Work Certification module, it’s possible to control the carbon footprint and the energy embedded in each certification at the origin, thereby adding control to the achievement of the project’s environmental objectives. As well as the study of deviations in the environmental impact forecast that may occur during the execution of the work.

All of this becomes the gateway to the incorporation of sustainability in projects and works through simple resources that allow the built product to be improved. The connection of these tools with BEDEC, the most powerful and rigorous database with environmental information on the market, ensures the reliability of the information generated.

Likewise, these TCQ modules allow access to the most powerful environmental tools that initiated users may need, such as TCQ-GMA, capable of analyzing the impacts of the whole life cycle, responding to circularity and recycling, aligned with the Level(s) initiatives and the European Taxonomy.

We invite you to the presentation of the new version of TCQ:
