Pilot test for using old tire strips to reinforce slopes
Assessment of the feasibility of reinforcing slopes with strips of old tires, testing the system in terms of safety and deformability. It is based on a computer simulation that makes it possible to check the amount of tires required for the proper performance of the system.

Characterization, proposals and recommendations for using waste tires as construction material
Status of the used tire market, its potential and the type of end applications that are found in other countries. Three forms of reuse are proposed: for stabilizing embankments, cuts and fills; as road safety elements used as pylons in the sides or central reservations; as road safety elements used as barrier coating after being crushed and bonded with polyurethane.
